- Water Parameters: Maintain stable water conditions with a temperature of 70°F - 82°F (21°C - 28°C), pH between 7.0 - 8.2, and moderately hard water. Regular water changes and good filtration are essential to keep your Blue Tuxedo Platies healthy and active.
- Feeding: Blue Tuxedo Platies are omnivorous and should be provided with a balanced diet that includes high-quality flakes or pellets, supplemented with live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and bloodworms. A varied diet will help maintain their vibrant colouration and overall health.
- Tank Setup: Provide a tank with plenty of live or artificial plants to offer shelter and create a natural environment. Blue Tuxedo Platies enjoy open swimming spaces, so ensure there is ample room for them to explore. A tank of at least 10 gallons (40 Litres) is recommended for a small group.
