Care Tips:

  • Water Parameters: Maintain stable water conditions with a temperature of 75°F - 80°F (24°C - 27°C), pH between 8.1 - 8.4, and salinity levels of 1.023 - 1.025. Regular water changes and good filtration are essential for keeping this species healthy.
  • Feeding: Glorious Wrasses are carnivorous and thrive on a varied diet of high-quality marine pellets or flakes, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and plankton. Feed 2-3 times daily in small portions.
  • Tank Setup: Provide a tank of at least 50 gallons with ample live rock for hiding and grazing, as well as open swimming areas. A secure lid is essential, as wrasses are known to jump.
  • Behaviour: Glorious Wrasses are peaceful and well-suited to community tanks. They coexist harmoniously with other non-aggressive species but may show mild territorial behaviour if kept with other wrasses in smaller tanks.
