- Water Parameters: Maintain pristine water conditions with a temperature of 78°F - 86°F (25°C - 30°C), pH between 6.0 - 7.0, and soft, slightly acidic water. Regular water changes and efficient filtration are essential to maintain the water quality required by this species.
- Feeding: The L236 Super White Pleco is omnivorous and should be provided with a balanced diet that includes high-quality sinking pellets, algae wafers, and occasional live or frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp. Including some vegetable matter like blanched zucchini or cucumber can also benefit their diet.
- Tank Setup: Provide a tank with plenty of hiding spots, such as driftwood, rocks, and caves. These areas not only offer shelter but also help replicate their natural habitat. A well-planted tank with subdued lighting is ideal, as this species prefers dimmer environments.
